Q. What size framework do I need for your frames?
A. Most standard units will suit 90/94mm framework. Overtaking x2 units require 140mm framework. Overtaking x3 units require 190mm framework. Ultimate units require 120mm framework.
Q. What are your units made from?
A. Our cavity frames are manufactured from high quality extruded aluminum and renewable timber resources.
Q. What door thicknesses suit your systems?
A. We recommend 35-38mm thick doors for most of our systems. Multiple Overtaking units are best used with 38mm thick doors. If your door is 40mm plus in thickness just ask for our Ultimate cavity slider system which can accommodate doors up to 68mm thick!
Q. Do you make your cavity sliders for standard door sizes only or can I have a special made?
A. All of our systems are made to suit, whether they are for a standard door size e.g. 2040 x 820mm or a non-standard door they go through the same manufacturing process.
Q. What is the maximum door size that your systems can accommodate?
A. Single units can be made for a door sizes up to and including 2700mm high x 2700mm wide. Higher and wider if the Ultimate is used.
Q. What is the maximum weight your carriages and track can take?
A. A pair of single carriages will take 90kg. If your door happens to be heavier we have heavy-duty carriages available to suit doors up to 240kg or if your entire door is made up of more than one panel each panel will need a pair of carriages.
Q. Is there a guide through floor of the door opening?
A. There are no visible floor guides on all CS Cavity Sliders systems allowing the floor coverings to run continuously through the opening. Most doors will need to be grooved for the t-guide that sits inside the base of the cavity frame.
Q. Do you have a distributor in my city?
A. We manufacture our door systems at our factory in Sydney and distribute Australia wide. We also have stock holding capacity.

A. Our large range of CAVILOCK door furniture incorporates high quality mortice locks and sliding door furniture for both residential and commercial applications.
