CS Cavity Sliders supplied Cavity Pockets to Halcyon Lifestyle Communities in three different sites located throughout Queensland. Our cavity sliders were specified for the ability to meet non-standard solutions:
Cavity sliders in wet areas
Structural ply was used in the wet area cavity pockets to assist the supporting a sheer load of up to 50kg per square metre. This assists the cavity to stay true and straight whilst the weight of the Villaboard and tiles are affixed.
Energy targets
The second solution was to assist in the energy targets designed for the cavity slider between the house and garage. With the use of Schelgels Mo-Hair and fin sealed products around the split jamb, head jamb and closing jamb, along with the triple brush seal along the base of the door, these cavity pockets have helped Halcyon achieve their energy star ratings for the build.
CS Cavity Sliders were specified because of the quality of fixtures and finishes, and residents have given positive feedback.
